Water temp was around 62 to 63 degrees this week. The fish seem to bite better for me on the cloudy and rainy days. We struggled to get bites today with the bluebird skies but still managed a few early. My fish came on main lake points and secondary points in 20 to 40 ft. deep. Some reports of smallmouth being caught in the creeks but I havn't had any luck myself in the creeks. Baitfish are moving into the creeks again so the bite should pick up there in the next week or two. It's time and the winter bite is on!
