| I have been fishing the Gower Island portion of Cheatham Lake for the past 2 years. Catching a lot of spotted bass and a few largemouth. Winter is always tough fishing. Anyone else fish this area and have any luck or suggestions on other parts of the river? |

| I've only fished Cheatham a few times. Once north of downton Nashville and again at Cheatham dam. I didn't know much about Cheatham but the guy I went with did. We caught some really nice Bass. His dad was a well known TV show fisherman. The time I fished Cheatham dam I caught a few Cats but I saw several people catching Stripers from the bank (tough area). I believe they also fish the current for Cats when they release the water, out in the middle. It's been so long ago that I can't remember what season of the year it was for either. Where is Gower Island? |
