Fished a section of the Little Harpeth yesterday morning from 6-10 more than anything just to go out and use the new Orvis flyrod and reel I recently got. The water is still up just a bit so some sections were hard to wade through and the current changes alot with the water level up like it is now. I used several flies none catching more than any other its just really slow fishing right now still, but i used brown and black wooly buggers a couple of stonefly imitations and a prince nymph imitation. Totals were 5 smallmouth largest 12" all small ones, and two rock bass one decent one, and two small bluegills. All fish basically came out of the same hole which is the deepest section of that stretch. Hopefully this weeks warmer weather will move some fish around. |

| I thought about fishing the Harpath last Sunday, but didn't have a new license yet. Did you pick up a new license and trout stamp? Was wondering if they went up this year. |
